The Sandbelt Hotel in Moorabbin is a cherished local venue renowned for its inviting ambiance. Join us for a delightful dinner event in our Bistro, then head over to the Sports Bar for the main attraction. Enjoy a game of pool, relax on our comfy lounge chairs, and be entertained by the fantastic band, Size Matters.
Size Matters is a dynamic 6-piece classic rock cover band featuring both male and female lead vocals, performing entirely live with no backing tracks. They bring the best of 70s and 80s rock and disco classics to life.
Their diverse setlist includes hits from ACDC, Hoodoo Gurus, Van Morrison, The Doors, Blondie, Robert Palmer, Australian Crawl, INXS, Dragon, Abba, Depeche Mode, Pat Benatar, Tina Turner, B52s, Choirboys, Pseudo Echo, Escape Club, Gloria Gaynor, The Trammps, Noiseworks, Queen, Cold Chisel, and more.
The band is all about having fun, with no rock star egos—just a solid sound that fills the dance floor and keeps everyone rocking all night long.

Dinner Package – Optional
Our Host will greet you in the Bistro and escort you to our reserved tables. Join us for a delightful Mix N’ Mingle dinner before the main event! Singles Over 40 can dine together at allocated tables, with our fantastic host ensuring a great mix of male and female members. Dinner will be 6pm to 7:30pm. Choose from an extensive menu and pay as you order. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet fellow members before heading to THE SPORTS BAR together for the event. This is a great way to meet a smaller group of people before you attend any of our larger events. You never know what great things can happen when you start as friends!
The dinner ticket package includes;

Meetup Table / Area
Arriving on your own is completely standard at our events. Expect a warm welcome from our hospitable hosts, who will assist with your check-in process, explain the evening’s proceedings, and can facilitate introductions (on request).
Additionally, we’ve designated a Meet N Greet (Meetup Table) zone specifically for guests who come alone, first event or shy/anxious. Meet in a smaller group first before mingling.
So there’s no need to feel anxious about not having a friend by your side—you’re sure to find a new friend at our events.

Coming Solo is the norm … be greeted by friendly male and female hosts. They will help you check-in, give you a run through what will happen throughout the night and even do introductions. We also have a Meet N Greet table/area for everyone coming solo. No need to worry about attending events without a wingman, you will meet one at our event.
